|I'm looking for help with this topic, specifically the defenses present at Cadiz and in the Canary Islands that were active and ready to go in 1898.
I have found a website with information about the defenses of Cartagena from immediately after that period, and there are some photographs scattered about that vaguely cover the buildings/fortifications at Cadiz (but nothing about armament or period).
What I would like to have is information on caliber and numbers of weapons, "battery breakouts" of the above if available, and any torpedo and mine defense including in the mix.
I've been a member of the CDSG for about three years now, but can only locate my last issue of the published materials.
Thanks in advance for any help that you might be able to give.
