I am researching and documenting the locations of Radars that were used in the defense of the United States (I'll use the term "American Theater") during WW II.

I have an accurate list of the Aircraft Warning Service (Signal Aircraft Warning) SCR-270, SCR-271, SCR-516, and SCR-588's locations.

Using the resources of the CDSG website and Mr. Berhow's American Seacoast Defenses: A Refence Guide, I have a developed a good list of SCR-296, SCR-582, and SCR-682's locations-- but I wouldn't claim to have a complete list.

However, I have a void of information when if comes to listings and locations for SCR-268's used by AA and SL units; SCR-547's used by AMTB Batteries, SCR-545, SCR-584 and/or SCR-784's used by AAA units and CA units. Where were these sets deployed; how many where there; what units were they assigned to?

Does anyone know is any of the AA, SL , AAA, or CA Radar locations been docuemented? If so, where would I find that information.

I'm looking for recommendations on sources of information or where to go to research this information.

Thanks in advance for suggestions, information, or assistance.

in researching the K-list thats all i found, as far as where a mobile unit was or when, good luck. that takes years of research on an individual unit basis. and with 900 battalions to choose from its perty overwhelming.
it took me months just to do this pre war wiki list.
