Hi Guys, This guy started off his military time as an enlisted man, he ended it as an officer. my question is would his same brown belt go with his enlisted jacket? Or would it only go with an officers jacket? which i dont have.

not usually unless your an MP,
http://g503.com/forums/
go to the reenactor sections for uniform questions.
although this is one of those comon questions thats been discussed to death, if you use the search feature and type in "sam brown belt"
you can probably find somthing.

IT is a SAM BROWN Belt and would be worn by an Officer. They were basically phased out/fell out of favor/ not worn during WWII. It is a between the wars - nice copy of what the Brits were doing from WWI.

M1921 russet leather belt Mandatory until 1942 with the Service coat.

So you have it with a Service coat but a Sgt. would not wear one.
