I've found that 3" M1917 fixed mount AA guns were installed in 1920 and that 3" M1918 mobile trailer mounted AA guns had arrived on Oahu by 1935.

My question is, had either type been replaced by 3" M3 AA guns and modern director equipment by Dec.7'41 ? It seems that the US Marines on both Wake and Midway had 18 of the newer AA guns by that date, but did Oahu ?

Any information much appreciated.
